If you can agree on a Heroes of Might and Magic game, then play at least a mini-nostalgia map; it's not more difficult (I even agree if it's without computers, but only that one!). The structure of this template can be learned in half an hour. And you've been playing it relatively recently; there are no "specialists" among you – everyone is in the same conditions. So... practice and win. On all templates :)
