Yes, you’re right. I’ve thought about it: for myself, I’ve always considered pop music and estrada music to be almost the same, except that pop music is meaningless, while estrada music has meaning. There probably wasn’t any pop music in the USSR.)
To clarify: I used to listen to Europa Plus, Russian Radio, and Soyuz-No. collections (insert the appropriate number in the range of approximately 6-23)
