REGULATIONS FOR THE FIRST CLAN OFFLINE TOURNAMENT.
1. TOURNAMENT FORMAT.
The tournament is a single-round individual and team competition. The results will be summarized both individually among the participants and among the Clans. Among the participants, everything is as usual - places are distributed according to the results. Clan placements will be determined based on the arithmetic mean of the top three representatives of the clan (the lower the sum of the places, the higher the clan's result!). If a clan has only one or two participants at the end of the tournament, it will not participate in the ranking of clans!
2. TASK FOR THE TOURNAMENT.
To avoid complicating the summary of results too much, I have prepared a task for speedrunning. The goal of the game is to capture all castles and kill all computer heroes. The criterion is the number of days. In case of equal results, the player who prepares and uploads the final save faster will be ranked higher in the table!
3. TOURNAMENT RULES.
We play according to the classic offline rules that have been in effect on our HeroesWorld for almost a year. /topic/102/
4. GAME VERSION.
The starting save will be generated on Tournament Edition 1.03p, but fully adapted for playing on Shadow of Death 3.2. In TE, hero recruitment will be available; in SoD, you will have to dig up heroes manually as before. There will be no conceptual differences!
5. DURATION OF THE TOURNAMENT.
The tournament starts on October 16th. Two weeks are allotted for preparation. That is, participants must upload their final saves to the forum no later than October 30th.
6. JUDGING AND TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THE TOURNAMENT.
To avoid any doubts about objectivity, I have developed the following mechanism. All participants who prepare a final save upload it in the form of an archive protected by a password directly to the forum! Within no more than three days after the end of the submission of saves, they also indicate the password to open the archive there. Then everything is as usual - I check the saves and create the final table. Everything is completely transparent and open, while even the judge of the tournament does not know your results until he receives the password. But the list of participants can be seen by everyone!!!
I have uploaded the task. The archive contains a detailed description!
