I only played board games with my father or both parents. I played Battlefront a few times, but it's quite tedious to crouch on the floor and shoot from those cannons. And also, I had two castles, not just one. I remember that poorly made models were a real pain. And it wasn't even about the casting, but about the design.

I loved those board games. I bought them at a small store with my pocket money. They cost about seventy to one hundred and twenty rubles. I even have "Predator" and "Alien." "Predator" is a terrible game. It's just nonsense. Fortunately, a kid gave it to me. But I bought "Alien," and it's awesome. It reminds me of Space Hulk. Sometimes the crew fights its way through narrow corridors, uniting and breaking through to the escape pod, and sometimes the aliens are mowed down with weapons found in the lockers like grass. I also have "Fallen World," which is also one of my favorites. It's a card game, but with an economy. I liked it so much because it's dynamic and, as surreal as it sounds, it reminds me of Command & Conquer in terms of gameplay.

And I love carving small figurines of brave warriors out of wood and staging epic battles in my room. I made small swords, shields, armor, even horses. At first, I only had one small village, whose inhabitants desperately fought against various demons. Then, as I carved more and more figurines, the settlement grew, and then another one was formed. Trade began between them, bandit camps and raiders appeared, werewolves and walking dead roamed the forests, and separate farmsteads appeared. The more I played this game, the more complex it became - the economy, growing crops, extracting and processing resources, religion, diplomacy were all taken into account. In battle, various tedious parameters were taken into account, such as the material the shield was made of and the blocking skill (I remembered each warrior by heart).
I've been playing this game for eight years and don't plan to stop, although my father predictably thinks I'm crazy.
