Castle on Jebus Cross is more effective than Necropolis will be - you can pretty quickly gather a stack of Archers, plus the red color on this template is a big advantage.
Necropolis loses tempo transporting skeletons, you can only gather them on respawn, and how many can you raise in 3 weeks anyway?
