Cherubim, in my opinion, aren't stronger than angels.

Cherubim are stronger than angels because, according to the angelic hierarchy, they belong to the first triad of angelic ranks (Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones), which is characterized by their direct proximity to God. Angels (in the narrow sense of the word) belong to the third triad and are characterized by their proximity to the world and humanity.
Cherubim are angel-like guardian creatures. According to descriptions, they appear either as winged lions or as bulls with human heads (also winged).

Powers are angelic beings (the second triad of angelic ranks). They are a special kind of cosmic spirits. They embody the principle of infallibility and unwavering hierarchical stability. In the game, you can give them the ability to, several times during a battle (randomly), absorb all (or reduce) the damage inflicted by a weaker opponent (in terms of quality, not quantity of units) on a stronger one, regardless of their affiliation to one army or another, which is the principle of unwavering hierarchical stability.
