Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Damn, I'm facing a really tough question right now... about choosing where to study :( I'm really stressed about it. For some reason, I'm starting to doubt whether I'll be able to handle architecture because it's incredibly demanding, and 40% of those who enroll are weeded out in the first year – I know this firsthand... plus, the competition is fierce, with up to 200 applicants for 18 budget places. There's also the option of Building Design (BD), which is essentially the same as architecture, but the drawing requirements are a bit less strict. Instead, they focus more on physics and structural mechanics. There are the same number of budget places, but almost everyone who applies to architecture will also apply to BD... so, it's all complicated, but I think it's worth trying to get in there. Moreover, the entrance drawing isn't difficult – it's a composition of geometric shapes. There's also the option of Construction (C), and as I understand it, this is also related to design and blueprints, but it's more of a technical specialty overall... I think I could probably get into that program on a budget because I do have a diploma with a perfect score in physics (OMG, I forgot to mention – Liz is also a physicist!), which adds up to 238 points. But I'm not sure if that's what I need... And finally, there's one more option at the local polytechnic – "Information Technology in Design." They accept students outside the competition for budget places (the diploma has different weightings in different universities). The only problem is that it's hard to understand what career path that leads to, although it does seem interesting. It seems to be related to graphic design – Photoshop, animation, video editing, and everything for advertising... but as I understand it, there are also elements of programming and web design there.
