Vova considered it dangerous to play against Conflux, and crossed out everything except Rampart.

The layout was rather unpleasant, although 13 elves, but there's no freebie anywhere. The first serious mistake was when transferring the army on turn 115, I left Ivor boosted on a dragonfly. And of course the green computer caught him, although I hoped he would retreat deep into his own territory. As a result, 2500 gold was eaten up, and on the second week I was persistently short on cash to open a second front. From my opponent's accelerated turns I realized he must have had a wipe somewhere, so I calmly leveled Dessa with Earth Magic and Tactics, with the prospect of getting Town Portal by the middle of week three. The central village was all sand, which of course didn't help the tempo. I took down the Negator, the Shield +3/+3, grabbed the Minicon, and headed for the level 6 hive. I planned to flag two Champion external dwellings on the second month and go into the treasure zone at the beginning of the third, but Vova surrendered.
