How is it not needed? It's like an introductory word, or whatever it is.
It's strange: I know the theory in Russian, I doubt whether it's an introductory word or not, but somehow it's written correctly most of the time.

It's definitely not an introductory word. I hope that the "most of the time" when you are absolutely sure you're writing correctly doesn't happen too often.

That's just plain shame and hands covering the face. Although, the lyrics of Russian rock songs on various websites are written without punctuation. And of course, you can't identify them by ear, so you don't develop that skill.
