Firstly, some stations broadcast in a quite acceptable quality of ~240kb/s, and secondly, on ordinary mediocre speakers, you won't feel much difference between 128kb/s and 320kb/s, let alone higher quality. Or does the esteemed critic listen to everything exclusively in lossless?
I can clearly feel the difference between 128 and 320 on my speakers and headphones.
I sometimes listen to lossless if I download something and unexpectedly come across it.
But I can barely hear the difference between 1500 and 320.
And even if you don't hear the difference, it still exists, it's just imperceptible, and you'll get just a little bit more enjoyment.
