2 Gomunguls. There's nothing wrong with forum members meeting in person. If a person frequents our forum and plays — it means they are interested. If they are interested, it's only natural to communicate with people in real life, at tournaments and gatherings.
Although, I too separate real-life acquaintances from people I know from forums.
When I talk to an acquaintance in ICQ or PM, I picture a familiar person in front of me, which is convenient for natural conversation.
But with virtual acquaintances — you more often reply with standard answers, involuntarily.
Well, I have nothing against real-life meetings... I have a good circle of friends (from HeroesWorld) with whom I communicate great outside our forum... and when I have time, there will definitely be real-life meetings too!!!:smile20:
