Insult (invective language) is the intentional or careless humiliation of the honor and dignity of another person, expressed in an indecent form, i.e., a form that contrasts with the norms accepted in the society in which the act is committed. An insult can be inflicted verbally, in writing, by action, publicly, both in the presence and in the absence of the victim. In an insult, no discrediting information about the victim is disclosed, but a negative assessment of their personality is given in a rude form.
