The fact that there are rules different from the ones you're used to playing by doesn't mean anything yet. By the rule of collecting artifacts using DD and fly, one could even play on SoD, so it's not worth blaming the game version.
As for 30 Cerberi, you've got me laughing. From the start: Fiona + second hero + dwellings = 18 units (maximum). How could it happen that you have 30 Cerberi on 112:
1) there are a couple of caches or a couple of heroes from prisons (possible in any version)
2) you didn't actually install TE(VT), but SoD again :D or maybe VOG :cool:
3) you simply lied about the Cerberi being a staunch opponent of TE
4) a severe glitch with heroes on SEM_56's computer :smile42:

options 2-3 are more likely because words were spoken with clear meaning that 2 native heroes arrived at the tavern with armies, which does not happen in TE(VT).
