Regarding the SOD, LIGHT, and WT formats – the last two are very similar to SOD. A large tournament is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the new features. More communication, mass participation, and bringing together diverse players. I think common sense will prevail in most cases – at worst, they'll play one game one way, and the second game another way; the schedule allows for it. And those who drop out for various personal reasons can be replaced by the same TE/WT players.
