I think this kind of tournament is more fun because it's similar to a real knightly (or fantasy, in our case) tournament that could have existed in history (a movie, a game, a book, etc.). The idea is this: in some kingdom, a tournament is announced, and participants come from all over the world (from different countries, different nationalities, with certain skills and abilities). And the whole point is that each participant will play with one race throughout the tournament (and maybe even with one hero, which would be even better), meaning that each player has their own role, their own character with certain characteristics. Yes, this is already a mix of games with role-playing elements, something like that. I just like to use my imagination and get even more enjoyment from it, much more. And you probably see the tournament as just a regular game or a chess match, where only logic and other things matter. Most people play for the sake of the game, but I play for the adventure and something more.
I don't want duels because there were some recently, and regular games... I don't see the point at all; I can play with people without any tournament.
Play Heroes of Might and Magic III without me.) (response to the poll)
