Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Last.fm really annoys me. If you listen to a song by a band, that band gets added to your library, and then it's heavily factored into compatibility with other users and in the selection of recommended music. In reality, it's a stupid system because to use it properly, you need to start getting into music along with Last.fm and scrobble right away. For example, I've been listening to Nightwish for a long time, and I've kind of moved on, but only after that did I find out about Last.fm. I did add Nightwish to my library, but I don't listen to it as often anymore, even though it remains my favorite band. But Last.fm will consider what I've scrobbled the most as my favorite band. Besides, I don't have the ability to scrobble forever. That's it, I'm done with Last.fm, it's gotten on my nerves.
