I have repeatedly seen evidence of Dubrovin's strong character; he makes decisions independently and thoughtfully. I doubt he would give in or succumb to malicious provocations. As for Wicc's sabotaging posts, don't pay attention to them, or better yet, ignore them altogether. The fact that you report to him or try to justify yourself only fuels his excitement.
