His cat loved to lie on the monitor (it was a CRT monitor back then). It was impossible to keep an eye on her during my turn. The old monitor would often shut down when she jumped on it – there was no disconnect, but I couldn't see anything on my screen for 5-10 minutes while it rebooted.
