I often play online, and it's not that uncommon for me or my opponents to experience situations during their turn or mine that require loading an auto-save (Heroes sometimes crashes, the power goes out, the computer restarts, etc.) - there's nothing wrong with that, and it rarely leads to the game being stopped and complaints being made. Online play is essentially built on trust...
