I don't remember the first 3 weeks very well; we started a long time ago and saved the game, and now we finally finished it. Almost immediately, a war started on the 3rd week; he invaded my territory with Nella, so I attacked him and managed to kill his hero (although maybe my opponent just didn't have enough money to bribe me).
I went straight to his territory, but I was afraid to attack without mana, so I brought in more troops (since I only had skeletons and liches) and, with reinforcements, took his capital.
In terms of development, it seems that in the first week, I had liches and a citadel; I only built vampires and horses on the 3rd week. I built 4 levels in the castle, but besides Chain Lightning, there was nothing interesting.
