Adventure log.

Today I downloaded a video with a somewhat unintentionally futuristic title: "Gothic III Walkthrough in 30 minutes." I smirked. I spent two months playing it; there's no way to do it that fast!
The funniest thing is that it turns out... it's possible :D
Basically, throughout the entire game, the hero doesn't level up, doesn't do side quests (98% of the game), but only... runs. First, he runs across half of Myrtana



, to the city of the dead, while dodging all attacks and arrows. By some miracle, he finds a powerful lightning scroll in a chest and kills the main demon o0 (it took me about 15 days to do that :smile04:). Then he grabs a teleport and, before a three-kilometer-long line of skeletons can catch him, teleports to the human castle under the dome


, runs through, lures the king... and kills him again with a scroll =\ (although killing him isn't necessary). He grabs his expensive gear and relics and heads to the starting city. There, he kills his best friend (this is definitely not necessary, and it's cruel :"( ), who, to his great surprise, has the key to the Temple :O (getting it normally takes about 40 days =\). Then he teleports and runs through the gorge to the north, visits several cities, and again, without a single fight, reaches Xardas's tower, which he... also kills without hesitation. Then he descends to the foot of the mountain and steals the Ring of Akasha from the tomb, again almost without a fight -_- Then he teleports, runs south... cleverly climbs over the mountains, and ends up in the desert. There, he buys an antimagic robe and finds keys in chests, opening the first Temple o0



And! he again passes everything without a fight, just running (the monsters are slow and don't react immediately). The only exception is the Dungeon, where the priests cause trouble (the most difficult place in the game, without a doubt; if you level up, you can't get through without a demon summoning scroll). So, he runs out of there with a sliver of health and with... the Robe of Adonis O_O, which he happily puts on. Then he runs through the ruins of an ancient city



and jumps onto the roof of the second Temple over the hill... I was completely stunned >< there was a hole in the roof! And there was no need to search for 5 keys scattered around the world :smile04:. He takes the crown there as well. He runs west to the palace



and kills King Varanth... bgg. Then it's a piece of cake - he teleports again to the north, to the anvil in the volcano's crater (the orc shamans couldn't even scratch him in the robe and crown), and destroys these sacred artifacts by throwing them into the furnace :rolleyes:.
And then he just runs northeast and opens a portal to unknown lands... and that's one of the alternative endings. Overall, it was very interesting to watch, because I didn't want to play it again, but it's an interesting game ^_^
