Without saves, it's hard to judge, but generally, gaining tempo in a week or two often outweighs the benefits of magic and stats.
It seems you're treating online play like offline, where the goal is to build up an army, level up a hero, and then compare strengths. That's why you prioritize things this way and set such crazy game time goals, like 232. I've only reached those timeframes maybe 5 times in my entire Heroes career, and even then, I'm not sure.
Because the priorities are a bit different – to gather everything you find as quickly as possible, ideally with half of it coming from your own towns and the other half from weaker players, and then visit your opponent.
In the last year or two, I've played maybe 10 games on competitive mode, and I haven't even reached the 3rd week in any of them.
Not 232, but 223. Don't tell me about priorities; I know how to play without you. The fact that you're bragging about not reaching the 3rd week after playing only 10 games on competitive mode is pointless. Sometimes, you simply can't attack your opponent on the second week, and if they start running away from you at a crazy pace, there's nothing you can do. I would gladly go for an early attack, but there was no opportunity to do so (or rather, there was a good opportunity to let the opponent develop in peace, occupying their towns, from which they often return with a horde of units and huge stats, just so you know). In short, take your questionable advice to the beginner's forum; they'll listen to you with their mouths open, while more experienced players have their own opinions and their own play style.
