Piterius (red, Castle, Turis, Turis) defWlk777 (blue, Fortress, Alkin, Alkin), WT without experience and tax, 2sm4d(3), 223
At first, I didn't understand where the hundred of lizards were; it turned out they were left in a reserve stack, and Valentin didn't even check what was inside the Castle, he was so confident in his victory :).
That's what happened. Regarding this phrase, I'll say that you have to be an idiot to be confident in victory when you're besieging an opponent's Castle with 35/35 attack/defense against your 14/20. He simply didn't check that the monster was in the Castle; he spent almost the entire turn looking at the Castle, and it seemed like there wasn't much going on there, and before that, there were only single units there. I would have thought twice before attacking, especially with only half of the possible mana. Then, it's strange that after three expert-level Earthquakes, there wasn't much visible damage to the Castle; apparently, these are new construction technologies :). I'll also note a couple of points: the monster is weak, and in each Utopia, there are powerful rewards (in the first, a blue artifact and a Knowledge Chest; in the other, +52 to the sum of parameters and a Library nearby, totaling +60, etc.). Frankly, it's unpleasant to hear from an opponent after the game that I didn't play correctly, that I "was messing around with cows" - I had 44 gold in the early third week, and I just didn't reach a couple of squares to the Turis that was encroaching on my territory; otherwise, the game would have ended around turn 132. Don't brag too much about quickly "devouring" the map when you have an extra 1400 MP compared to me and received a blue artifact in the very first Utopia. What can I do if I received about +20 to the sum of parameters from 8 relics in the Utopias, and it took 3-4 days to reach each Utopia with my speed. Thank you for the game.
