Now for the essence of the problem:
I recently reinstalled Windows and formatted the system drive (Heroes were on a different one). I launch SoD - black screen for a second and an error message asking whether to send or not; I reinstall from the disc (3.0) into the same directory without deleting (to update it, so to speak); they launch, I play, but the "Cranim.txt" file in the Data folder doesn't work and units crawl way too slowly, as I'm used to the acceleration. I asked for this little file on the forum (thinking it might have been corrupted, just in case), replaced it, but there was no result. I patched it to 3.2 just in case - still nothing.
I deleted everything completely, installed from scratch, both 3.0 and 3.2 - makes no difference, it won't accelerate, even though everything worked fine before :(
I also have the Complete Collection; it launched without reinstallation and "Cranim.txt" is doing its job perfectly.
