You can leave everything as is. That is, if a player likes a particular map, they open the Reference and save it to the Maps folder themselves. If you unpack all the maps at once, it can be confusing in the map selection menu in the game. Scrolling through 200+ lines in search of a specific one is not the best way to spend your time.
