By the way, I was just watching a show on TV about American restorers of World War II artifacts. It featured Soviet soldiers vs. Germans, and it was funny.
They're wearing our uniforms, speaking Russian (some of them), smoking Belomor cigarettes, playing the accordion and balalaika, playing our songs (+dancing), etc.
And most importantly, they know the truth about the war and the contribution of our troops to the victory.
One of them said: ..., and yet many Americans don't know how things really were.
Once again, I'm convinced that all people are different, and it's not right to generalize about an entire nation or country.
