That's how it was. My home base was very poor. There was very little money. After building a Fire Lake and hiring two Efreet, I broke through to the Necropolis base through a horde of lizards with acceptable losses. It turned out to be small, and further passages to the villages were guarded by many Medusas, almost a horde, a pack of Efreet Sultans, and Royal Cyclops. On the second turn, I barely managed to gather an army and, after defeating the Medusas and then the Cerberuses, I captured two villages. Pyra didn't get any particularly useful skills... :( On the third turn, I already had some money from the villages, so I hired a few more troops and, after defeating a pack of Efreet Sultans, I attacked the Snow base and captured a Rampart village there. Then, after passing through many Demons, I reached the middle of my opponent's territory. The turn was almost over, and suddenly I saw Valeska with a group of Angels, as it turned out, 7 of them. And she also had Boots of Swiftness. I wasn't ready for such a turn of events... I captured a Rampart village nearby, attacked it, killing one Crusader, but losing 16 Centaurs. A scout took the army to the Snow base village, and there were still many resources to exchange them for money and hire another hero to take the army to a safe place, but the seconds were ticking. :( I didn't have time. Valeska in her boots reached the loot. There wasn't enough money for a ransom.
