Abolarb played correctly, he just messed up the ending, Jhalib should have lost there. And the game between Carli and Letos was strange. Letos put everything in one pile – he immediately used Subdue and his ranged units were out of position. In the endgame, instead of attacking with Titans, Letos should have attacked with two ranged units or killed a Ballista. And the Word of Power probably prolonged the battle.
Abolarb is generally very strong. His setup is just a bit strange for Jhalib; usually, mages are placed in the corner so that it's convenient to cast Wall. Also, he used a Magic Bomb on the ranged units and then closed off the rest with a Fan of Fire, meaning he could have used the Magic Bomb on someone else, like the Channeling Druids. Although, it's easier to see that from the situation itself. The Walls for Dira are also a questionable decision – they don't encourage a long siege of the mages. A simple Magic Bomb would have dealt as much damage as a Rain of Arrows from two Walls, and with a bit of luck, even more, while using three times less mana.
Recently, Abolarb defeated my Airia with Carli. There, something was wrong with the morale and luck of the blonde, while the Dwarf had good morale. And I also put my own units in a bad position once, exposing them to Battle Fury. When you're just unlucky and your opponent is also playing well, it really gets to me. I almost lost to Delebe with the Fox faction; there was no morale or luck either, so I barely managed to win.
