Break it.

The number of upvotes is not an indicator of quality at all.
Someone might write a huge post with their thoughts, breaking everything down – and no one will upvote it. But someone else might get upvotes for just posting something simple, even if it's stupid (and not even funny).

This is an evaluation by others, not an indicator. If there is an evaluation, it means that what was written is not so bad... at least not for everyone.

But according to your logic, this stupid post is not as bad as the post with thoughtful content.
