I don't think Ossira is a bad hero; he's actually quite good, but he struggles against Helmar because Helmar has protection against ranged attacks and magic. Also, my luck only triggered a few times, and even then, it was only in melee combat.
I don't know about Erin; maybe she would have had a chance against Orson, but it would have been very slim because the luck reduction effect works almost every turn. However, I don't deny her damage output, but she has no defense and gets taken down quickly.
