The protection was removed immediately after I sacrificed 4 companions to the ritual; the spirit was no longer at the gates. I went to the warrior's grave, found the rune of exorcism on the skeleton near the grave (by the way, I couldn't use it in "Lords of the North," but will a non-dwarf be able to use it?!), but I couldn't open the grave itself – it says that "the slab won't move" :smile32: or something like that.
I replayed a bit – Ornella defeated the assassins, and I immediately went to the ghost with her – it worked – the ghost offered to open one of the three portals :smile20:. I took Arantir and went to collect experience from the three trees, after which Arantir became level 34 :smile13:! Then I sent 4 companions to their doom for the sake of peace, and, of course, I transferred the entire army and artifacts to Arantir in a timely manner. The companions died – the magical protection on the gates disappeared. Then I sent Arantir to visit the red Orlando; the blue one was already gone , apparently, Orlando had previously defeated him because he was no longer needed... I went to the mummies, where I wanted to gain experience, and to the dragons, red angels (Seraphim), and devils – I defeated them all, but I couldn't level up above level 34. Then I went to the destination – to Orlando: I didn't even use the ring of banishment; I only used the standard set for Arantir – it worked the first time; it's a pity that 700 vampire princes were not an obstacle for his succubi, which he managed to successfully dispel:smile47:. Creating phantoms and devilish luck – you can't take that away from him – killing his phantoms is not for the faint of heart – they are only defeated after 5-6 attempts!!! (for example: in my battle, there were 200 succubus phantoms and 400 three-headed Cerberuses, which successfully killed my vampires and ghosts). But we're not pushovers either – I cast obedience on 50 cave lords, who first defeated 15 devils and then went to mow down their former friends very successfully!
By the way, I also managed to open the hero's grave without any problems, immediately after passing through the gates – there was a scroll with the "Dispel Magic" spell; next to it was the same "Rune of Exorcism," which I didn't include in the active artifacts; I left it in my backpack.
So, fellow warrior-heroes, you always need to follow the mission according to the list of tasks and complete them exactly, then there will be no glitches :smile49:
