I liked it, it's interesting. The concept may not be entirely new, but as far as I know, it's being applied to Heroes for the first time, so +1!
Regarding the criticism, I would like more information about where the action takes place, what events happened before, that is, to better fit it into the framework of the history of Ashan. And also:

Added 10 minutes later They shed some light on the stalactites: it doesn't necessarily have to be ice, but it forms under the influence of water, and there probably isn't any water in the main hall of the Inferno fortress :) In my opinion, it would be better to have a stone block collapse instead of a stalactite :o
