My Lord, I have some sad news. Two more murders were committed last night. We haven't been able to determine anything significant yet, as the heavy rain washed away all the traces. Terrible weather, I haven't seen anything like it in a long time.
The first body was found near Ellin's house. The victim was identified as Pandora. The body was lying next to the door, and the girl's skin was pale. Witnesses suggested that the deceased slipped, as the doorstep was washed away by the rain and became slippery. However, after traces of a bite were found on her neck, this version was dismissed.
The second murder took place in Vegtam's house. Neighbors were alarmed by the animalistic howl coming from his house. When they approached the door, a terrible crash was heard, which frightened them. Entering the room, they found the owner. The victim was lying on the bed, and there was a hole in his chest – it seems the killer tore out his heart, and the unfortunate man's body was mutilated.
Closer to morning, I received news from the townspeople:
Kash said that three people came to him, but at different times. He didn't open the door the first time, and he didn't open it the second time, listening to the voices behind the door, which belonged to two strangers. He explained his fear by saying that before these visits, he noticed someone's shadow at the window. Magnus also mentioned a night visitor whom he didn't let into the house.
In addition, I learned that an attack was made on the guard post. Several guards were injured, but they all survived. There were rumors of a beast, but the captain is not in a hurry to share information with me.
