The opponent took all the restarts, I didn't take any. The generation was, as usual, unfair. I was given not a single external dwelling, Griffin Conservatory, or Hive, and not too much gold. The opponent had 3 Griffin Conservatories right on the road (2+2+3), a Hive (8), a native secondary hero, an external market, decent gold, and on the second road - a bunch of useful artifacts (though I got them all in the end), and countless external dwellings (5 (!) Firebirds alone).
111 - Centaurs came at maximum, 3 Elves, 7 Serpents with Corbac, and a Ballista with Pira. Two experience stones in front of the castle, many unguarded treasure chests. One secondary hero - Overgrowth behind the Ogres, and there is a second one, roads are slow. A Pandora's Box behind Firebirds and a necklace for morale/luck are visible, but it never gets to it behind the Scorpicores.
112 - Grand Elves, I hit the Ogres, there's Conflux, but it's not yet visible where the town is. Second secondary hero - Barbarian behind the Orcs.
113 - The road to Conflux goes into a treasury, there are shooter blocks immediately, I turn around. Thought about a restart for a long time, but ultimately 6000 at the end of the turn, 6 heroes, and a powerful army convinced me to play.
114 - Found a lookout tower on the secondary hero, move troops there.
115 - I reveal the lookout and realize I'm in serious trouble... I see the opponent's native secondary hero, which he has already broken through to, 3 external Firebird dwellings, a Griffin Conservatory right on the road. His second secondary hero is also an Overgrowth one (was clear from the start of the week), which also doesn't bring joy. I think about how to arrange a meeting restart, but realize it's already too late.
116 - Broke through to the Barbarian, there's a conveniently located Stable and a Pandora's Box behind a horde of Iron Golems.
117 - Take the town, free a hero from prison, stand on the Stable. Build order - Unicorns and Citadel, very little gold left.
121 - Buy Elves and Unicorns, kill 75 Golems, the Pandora's Box is empty (level 3 magic)... But near the Firebirds, I found another one, behind Energy creatures.
122 - The Pandora's Box behind the Firebirds is empty again (level 3 again), but at least I got lucky with the last one - 25 Grand Elves. It's clear that in a prolonged game there's no chance, so I go on the attack through the secondary hero, you never know what might happen...
123 - The passage leads somewhere completely wrong... To the northwest, but Conflux is to the east... Enter an underground treasury, pick up the Golden Bow.
124 - Rosik reveals a lookout tower, it's easier now. I sit in the Castle, pick up the Sword +2+2 above it.
125 - Buy a spell book and run along the road. Collect artifacts: +1 luck, +1 morale, +1 spell power, a quest Pendant behind 20 Grand Liches, a Pendant +5 Resistance behind 80+ Eyes, a Ring of Speed behind 66 Pegasi.
126 - Reveal the lookout tower with Izra. Mike, naturally, sat in the town with his entire army, built a Citadel. The army doesn't particularly impress: presumably 4 Birds, 4 Magma Elementals, 1-2 Angels, 6-8 Wyverns, 5-9 Fire Elementals, 10-19 Water Elementals, and 10-19 Fairies. But I have nothing to attack with, the tower Elves should kill them quickly. So I ran for the Shield +4 slightly south of the road, after which I approached the castle. Mike stayed there.
127 - Kill Inteus on Fairies and run to the opponent's native secondary hero. The plan is this: either they attack me now, which doesn't look so bad, or they don't. In the second case, having a speed advantage due to specialization and a one-day lead, I could take the secondary hero and capture a seemingly large, unconquered Griffin Conservatory (even 2, as it turned out later). After that, I'd need to find a passage into the underground treasury and combine troops there through Pira. I build a castle.
Mike decides to attack (he can see there are 2 Griffin Conservatories and he absolutely can't give them up along with the secondary hero):
Erdamon (6, 3, 4, 1(10)), Expert Tactics, Logistics, Finance, and Basic Armorer, 30 Fairies, 8 Wyverns, 2 Angels, 4 Birds, 4 Magma Elementals, 5 Fire Elementals, 12 Ice Elementals;
Kyrie (9, 15, 3, 4 (23)), Expert Archery, Logistics, Armorer, Tactics, Wisdom, Basic Leadership, 51 Grand Elf, 25 Battle Dwarf, 72 Centaur Captain, 5 Unicorns, 6 Silver Pegasi, 1+1 Centaur, Golden Bow, +1 Speed, +3 Morale, +1 Luck, Ballista.
I fought the battle well and won it easily, losing only 10 Elves, 10+ Centaurs, and all the Pegasi.
Thank you for the game.
