Regarding other troops—with 6 stacks of vampires, there's nothing to distract them in rounds 3-4 of the battle, you have to sacrifice Harpies and Eyes, and that's exactly where a few units of Gr. Troglodytes would come in handy. Sacrificing week 1 Harpies and Eyes as meat is unwise.
