We're waiting for Predsa to figure it out. Maybe the Minotaurs had low morale? Does this situation always repeat, or did it happen just once?

If I had the answer, I wouldn't be asking. The guards didn't have low morale, and even if they did, it wouldn't matter – they still wouldn't reach the angels. I don't have that save, so I can't check if the situation repeats. I guess we'll just chalk it up to strange AI behavior.
Recently, in one game, a stack of water elementals, standing right next to the angels, didn't attack them but instead moved towards the archers, who were very far away.
