for both of them this game turned out to be the last in this tournament
for personal reasons I am withdrawing from further play, the opponent will announce their decision in the response report
about the game itself: Necro specifically on this template – imho a gift from the opponent, there will always be plenty of time to ramp up, and the power to take the utop he will gather clearly earlier than other towns – maybe with the exception of Dungeon, but that one still needs good rolls, while Conflux with its fixed birds has clearly dropped lower
the opponent, by the way, bet on Conflux, taking it as his neighbor, but after building the birds, he realized their growth was by no means from SoD, and they also died quite a lot – still the weakest of the 7th-tier, and the upgrade allowed in WT/TE was never reached
I, despite a couple of losses (in the Griffin Conservatory and when my own castle was being recaptured by the computer with a cart that I didn't notice) and very long roads (on the surface there were compact 5 respawns with villages, while underground – where my start was – only 3 respawns) managed to get ahead of the opponent in might
at the start of month 4, I upgraded my 7th-tier; the plan was to build greens in the ramp I had chosen (which I took specifically for converting unics and drakes))))) which, with at least two treasure zones found in the central treasure zone, would have been pretty nice ;)
but it didn't come to that – on his 144, the opponent, having obtained the key TE spell books – Water and Fire – breaks his own GO, and gets caught by Goshka, who had been hanging around in that treasure zone for a day or two with bracers, uber-might, and doubled mana from the Dungeon he had taken for that purpose
parameters were roughly equal, but Goshka's library for FF was better: 3 books excluding Fire and Expert Elemental Magic except Air
the end of the tournament for both participants was marked by an Armageddon with nearly 1K damage :D :D
GG, thanks to my opponent for the game, and to the organizers for the tournament :)
