That's how it was. The respawn was very poor. Strongest blockers. Due to a map bug, there were no castles except the native one :( On the bright side - an external dwelling of hydras, behind the horde of golems - I took it on the second turn and spent a very long time there because the lizardmen ran out of arrows, and there were still 40 stone golems left in two stacks. Good thing I brought a ballista with me, but without artillery skill it dealt 2-5 damage... yeah, it took a long time to kill them.... Then I took the external dwelling of hydras and that allowed me to put up some resistance. When Clavius entered the teleporter and saw Valeska with a large number of archers, he decided not to attack... Because I wasn't sure the road led exactly to the opponent's castle and not to the Conflux. I took the Tunic of Cyclops and the Beehives; if I had Slow, I would have tried to take the Tron Conservatory too, because Tazar was an expert in Earth Magic with 20 mana and 6 spell power, but there was no Slow anywhere :( Meanwhile, I lost track of Valeska and she went to my respawn and headed towards my capital. Because I was playing as the blue color, the opponent fully bought out all the growth, and also killed all my lizardmen and 5 wyverns when I was recapturing the town back. I lost the last FB because I had almost no army left. And I even fled instead of buying back in :( But that wouldn't have helped anymore.
