My opinion: this is a misunderstanding, and an ambiguous one at that.
Measures are taken according to the degree of harm caused – in this case, there is no harm.
The situation is absolutely equivalent to the following: in a Moscow tournament, I opened the save file of a game between Eddie and Preds.
The goal is to test some of my assumptions.
This game was then finished a week later.
Let's record this as a loss for Eddie, because he won there, or even better, let's annul his Moscow tournament – specifically for this :D :D

But was Eddie involved?
The answer is no, he wasn't, just like Alex! What should he do – encrypt the saves, or lock him in a room? Cobra is an adult, and he trusted him :) Did Cobra do anything illegal, being not a player? In my opinion, NO! First, prove that he then directed Alex, and then go after him......

But I think the situation is different here – some people simply suspect Alex – as if Cobra is just an excuse.
