Magic is better than all these enchanted arrows and volleys of arrows. My elf now has Meteor Shower, and I only use that. It's better to upgrade Druids to level 2, not level 3, because they attack with magic. It's more powerful. And they can transfer mana.

The strongest units for the Elves are the archers; some people claim that the "Dancing with the Wind" units are the strongest. But by the time they reach the archers, they won't be alive anymore.
