It happened. I fell for a good respawn, but it turned out to be a bait. Then it was looping around the castle along a slow road. I arrived at the first siege only in the middle of the 2nd week, though there was a moment of distraction with the gnome dwelling and the crypt, but that's not the key point — this distance was covered only by a chain of 6 boosted heroes. The only continuation of the road ran into ГО — about fifty drakes. Naturally, the opponent had all the other forks and, as a bonus, boots and gauntlets for good mobility. To top it all off, the plague mowed down the unspent growth — but I built angels instead :rolleyes: .
When the barbarian showed up, I decided to attack — 650 gr of skeletons with animate dead settled it even without mass magics, but there was another surprise — a scroll of chain lightning with a pendant against lightning. My native army fell, along with more than half of the skeletons. After that, everything was simple — the opponent out-economized me, having two ultra-fast heroes, occasionally trading unnecessary meat using chain lightning. I could have surrendered, but I kept messing around a bit more to have a clear conscience in front of my teammates. There was even one local victory when the skeletons waited for the opponent to run out of mana and took down 15 geese with some meat without losses. In the finale, I was killed by 4 lightning strikes.
