Opp got 5 Griffin Conservatories on 11 angels, which were already beaten by day 123! :) I found mine but didn't beat the only Griffin Conservatory on FF day (and 3 Dragon Utopias taken nearby, and ALL of them were minimal)))))) and against the freebie angels, a double-build also worked, not native though, but from captured computer castles + a bunch of looted gold + an implosion scroll, for the sake of using which I built a second mage guild also on FF day
Didn't really see my own spawn, took off from it immediately)) on day 3 I mow down the brown neighbor, there's a mage guild and Tazar gets some shells)))
on the way back I kill Tiris with a power stack, but the computer did get on my nerves despite a specially built citadel and a stationed mage, though he ran out right away, leaving the town unguarded and was killed
Tazar keeps pushing and by the end of the week manages to grab a second – green – castle))) building swords in the first one, nearby an external monk dwelling – I decide to give up on my native swamp and build monks in both castles with the external dwelling: Sorsha first beats a horde of skeletons for a prison with Gurni, and he takes the external archer dwelling, then, after dumping the native army, the external monk dwelling, and Bron finishes off the external archer dwelling-2 through the chain
at home, gremlins and iron golems in the citadel, didn't build a castle due to spending on monks :)
total plan at the start of week 2: 22 monks and 60+ marksmen (well, I obviously didn't know about the opp's Griffin Conservatories, and it wouldn't have saved me from the angels – good thing they didn't come for me then)))
Tazar around level 8 with Logistics and Earth, managed to get Tactics too, ends the week at the dwarf cottage under the former green capital
Week 2 starts with the dwarf cottage, then a circuit through the grass via the medusa bank, a couple of naga banks and stables to the elevator, the army is withdrawn for half a day for the noob to beat Shak’tols for a pack of nagas, we dive into the underground – there's an external horse dwelling! :) had plans to stick with angels, had enough gold – but when I saw the external dwelling, I decided horses are better in both castles, even though it costs a ton of resources
well then along the way a Dragon Scale Shield, a Hive (the only one in the entire game)))) another horse tent, Sphere of Permanence, and – a rare wonder – a blue tent, hidden behind a pillar guarding a Dragon Utopia at the fork to the green player and my opponent)))))
on the last move we smash into a mage guild and spend the night in the former green castle, refilling mana (I took Intelligence, which is rarely given to Tazar, and it helped later in FF)))
could have opened the pillar with Elleshar that same day, but since the darkness is half a day's journey from the utopia to the opponent, I decided not to give him such a freebie ;)
on day 131 Tazar with stables and the yellow speed artifact just manages to run to the dragon dwelling: minimal with a Titan's Cuirass, but beforehand Elissar, opening the pillar, picks up an implosion scroll, and immediately mage guilds are built at home and at the green player's with utmost urgency ;)
next turn the noob reveals a utopia further down the road, I go in with a purchase from the brown castle – minimal with Water Boots – great!! :D already turning around to cut through to the opponent with implosion and a full buyout from the 2 castles, but then a 3rd utopia is spotted, Tazar dives into it like a shuttle – another breastplate (dragon this time, like an alternative))) and on day 133 with the shackles still equipped (implosion not usable yet, but shot power over 300))) he stands at the fork, the power stack is 24 horses, 34 zealots, 98 marksmen, 11 gremlins, 32 crusaders and 1+1 speed artifacts, stats 7-16-17-89 +1 speed
at night the former green castle with Dimension Door is taken by a fattened Neela (the Miner from the tavern disappeared long ago))) leaves a pack of dwarves there, on the remaining movement she runs into a well and brazenly heads into my steppes
the next day I zone out – forgot where I built the mage guild, so the operation to recapture the castle by the noob is only with swamp troops (the whole power stack couldn't reach past Neela through the swamp, who has 11 angels, 250 troglodytes, a hundred+1+1+1 harpies and 12 gremlins, stats 17-10-21-100 +2 speed)
but I did recapture it with gremlins and lizardmen, turns out it was only floor 1 – I could have not suffered and just attacked directly – I finally build the 4th mage guild in the other castle, the 3rd one is already up in the swamp, I transfer the scroll for 3K damage from the stash, add some bulls that weren't upgraded due to the pace of building the mage guild, and......
well, this was pure incredible stupidity – overjoyed that I had a full 2 artifacts from Berserker (a medal in addition to the pendant) I used Tactics to crowd everyone into one corner, and after imploding the angels I got hit as expected by meteors on everyone at once, took even more damage :D :D and besides, I forgot that now the first turn in the round belongs to blue and didn't spread out my shooters, who all died under the meteors((( I cast Blindness, the horses crash into the harpies, the rest swoop in, then implosion on the trogs, killing off singleton harpies, they thin me out with meteors again – this time no more than 1 stack – and try to buy me off!.. :)
at the end of the battle, the opp, having cast Blindness on the surviving horses, tried to fly away with 22 harpies also under Slow, but I had just enough mana left for 2 shots on them – if he had Hasted them afterwards, he would have reached everywhere, and he wasn't afraid of Blindness because besides the medal, we each had a ballista ;)
but he spams meteors, in response Haste on the horses, and with 2 strikes on the harpies, Neela dies, dropping a Dimension Door scroll among other things!
thanks to my opponent for the game, for the 2nd match in a row implosion decides the outcome :)
