Do you think there are any creatures that become weaker when upgraded?

Fish are the only unit in the Conflux that requires an upgrade if you intend to use them as a combat unit. If you're just using them as cannon fodder, then the basic version will suffice. You can, of course, use the basic version as a strike force, but they enter the battle too late due to their low speed.
