The Great Confrontation – reports and summaries.

BOLIVAR (red, demon, Grok) defeated GL (blue, orcs, Keegan), M3, week 7 (approximately). Grok was doing very well, although there were some losses on inconvenient neutral creatures, but not often. In TE, demons were given preferential treatment. We met the opponent around week 4, and he didn't deploy all his troops and paid us off. Then the game dragged on - a bug caused a portal to be blocked by an enemy cockroach. We resolved the situation, but my hero was already on the other side by that time. Then the opponent lost his main hero - he was defending an important artifact for himself (the Armor of the Forgotten). By that time, Grok was level 29 with decent stats, subjugation, good attack, and defense (as my hero with the eagle eye discovered - at the time of the first meeting of the main heroes, Keegan didn't have antimagic and all skill slots were already occupied). Confirmed. There is always inconvenient guarding on good artifacts. Since I didn't take antimagic, I needed at least some percentage from the artifacts. I didn't position myself well and lost.
