The Great Confrontation – reports and summaries.

[/U]Gastello (red, elves, Ossir) defeated BOLIVAR (blue, necro, Orson, Zoltan), M3, week 2.

The game went wrong from the very start. Unexpectedly, I started struggling with necros.
I struggled for 2 weeks, kept struggling, at the end of week 2 I attacked the native garrison with a minimum of remaining meat, lost.
The opponent offered a rematch, but I refused (I don't like rematches; and there wasn't much point in repeating that fight anyway).
So I decided to end the game and not waste the opponent's time. Especially since Osya was doing very well.
My apologies to the opponent for the time wasted.

Yes, Osya got going right off the bat — on day 10 he was 14, too bad we couldn't test strength against the necro :) thanks and good luck further

The game dragged on indecently long, although I started off briskly (level 16 by day 10) Zones are long, the log stubbornly wouldn't give, adjacent zone is snow, wiped a couple of times (barely escaped with 1 caven from cave dwellers in 4 stacks :) - spells really taught me a lesson:eek: )-there I got stuck for a long time. But the opponent was in no hurry anywhere, despite the hero, so I slowly gathered the needed perks and artifacts. on the 7th I entered the treasure zone, cleared a little, collected all artifacts (amulet, cloak, trident, boots — to comfortably fry the orc :))
By this time the game had gotten quite boring for us, and we decided to have a slaughter, where I steamrolled the orc without much trouble, despite full anti-chaos
