Thief Petya to Vasya (not shown in the newspaper)
Next night:
Cop Vova to Kolya
Doctor Kolya to Petya
Homeless Vasya is blocked
Thief Petya targets Vova

There's no targeting at all – just a normal spread of moves. Because in your version, the Thief is the ultimate character. He targets the Mafia and the Serial Killer, finds out who he can trust from the town – it's just great.

By the way, it's quite possible that Magnus was the Homeless.

And in the third newspaper, who was visiting Taco then? The Sheriff? Vesker would then be contesting the Analyst, not accusing and blocking Taco...
