1984. Based on the famous book by George Orwell. I barely managed to get through it. Don't watch it. The book is more interesting. 12 Monkeys (Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt). This is closer to what I like. In 1996, a deadly virus claimed 5 billion human lives. The survivors were forced to flee underground, where they organized a new society. Scientists devised a way to travel through time and want to correct a fatal mistake, but they need information. A prisoner (Bruce Willis) volunteered (?) to collect information for the scientists, was accidentally transported to 1990, and... ended up in a mental hospital...
