13.03.2010 Pit for LM (blue, Rampart, Ufrethin, Ivor) def Looser (red, Castle, Rion, Lakussa), 2sm4d(3), 131.
We took all the restarts. The distribution was decent, although my opponent probably got a slightly better start.
111 - near the Castle, a stable, some money, 3 elves and Ivor in the main town. 112 - a group of elves, a crypt. 113 - broke through to the swamp, there's a conservatory by the road. 114 - a secondary town, a crypt, repelled an ambush of centaurs. Further down the road, another conservatory on the swamp. Not bad, Ivor's territory is already well-developed. 115 - I eliminate the last centaurs, breaking through to the second swamp. There's a +10 to ranged attack. Found a cloak of speed. Received a slow spell in a scroll! 116 - I return the army to repel a couple of resource locations and an ambush of pegasi. 117 - unicorns and a Castle.
121 - I rush home, buy a book, and build a maximum-sized dwarven warehouse. 122 - I take it, gloves, and only 1 angel... 123 - +3 angels, that's good. But I make a big mistake and don't enter the swamp to replenish mana... 124 - cloak of speed, dwarven warehouse with a capacity of 10, Ivor skips an entire turn in the Castle. 125 - I go on the attack through the secondary town. Lakussa, although she has good stats, doesn't seem to have many troops. Along the way, I also repelled a charm for morale/luck. 126 - +4 vipers at the opponent's secondary town, a +2+2 sword there as well, I lost 3 unicorns due to greed while guarding, luckily there was no morale. 127 - I settle in the secondary town (Dungeon with a town hall), losing 1 angel, I send the hero to the opponent, and he sees from the watchtower as many as 3 uncaptured nests standing by the road...
131 - Lakussa and her companions take all the nests. There's nothing to do - I attack:
Ivor (7, 10, 2, 3 (60)), expert in attack, ranged attack, earth magic, and sorcery, +2 speed and +3 morale/luck, 4 vipers, 7 unicorns, 29 pegasi, 3 angels, 96 centaurs, 15 dendroids, and 41 high elves; Lakussa (17, 10, 5, 9 (85)), expert in tactics, defense, attack, fire magic, logistics, wisdom, advanced earth magic, +1 speed, +1 luck, 24 vipers, 18 royal griffins, 3 angels, 3 champions, 1 core griffin, 18 undead, and 19 pikemen.
Massive slow, which couldn't be removed, did its job, and Ivor easily won. At the end of the battle, the elves with double strike and morale took out all the angels in one round :smile10:
