On SM-ca (SM), there are generally more roads and slightly more respawns.
8mm6 is generally asymmetrical in favor of Red - the center is closer and the distant computers are closer. That's why 8mm6a is played now, which has a symmetrical structure; there is no statistics yet on the quality of the distributions, as it has only recently started being played.
On Jebus Cross, the distributions are generally the same, but the factor of the first move when eating the center decides - at the moment of meeting, Red can collect more goodies. However, in this case, the advantage of restarts compensates for it, imho.
On Mini-Nostalgia, the distributions are generally the same, there is no first move advantage, so Blue is preferable in my opinion.
Regarding Balance and Panic, I have no personal statistics, but based on general considerations, I assume the same factor with roads and respawn size applies as on SM-ca (SM).
For other XL+U templates, there is little statistics, so I won't venture to judge.
