Stinger and Preds didn't make it through the qualifiers in Moscow, meaning the Michurinsk team is weaker.
Preds took 2nd place in Michurinsk,
Stinger took 3rd place.
In Moscow, Preds took 6th place!
And Stinger took 4th place.
Therefore, if Preds is 6th in Moscow and 2nd in Michurinsk, Vitalik is definitely stronger than Mizrael and Skorp.

Maybe Stinger and Preds were playing at half strength in Moscow, knowing they were already in the final. Maybe something else. In Vancouver, Kuzmina finished 39th in the individual race but won the sprint. Does that mean that strong biathletes weren't competing in the sprint? :)
